AGENDA

1. CALL TO ORDER
Statement of Executive Officer Authority to conduct Protest Hearings

2. PUBLIC COMMENT
Members of the public may speak on non-agenda items. Comments are limited to three (3)
minutes per person. No action will be taken at this meeting as a result of comments.

3. PROTEST HEARING # 1 Shasta Community Services District (CSD) Fire Services
Divestiture and Successor Agency Designation
The Shasta LAFCO Executive Officer will conduct the protest hearings as follows:
a. Describe the proposal and hearing purpose
b. Summarize Shasta LAFCO Resolution approving divestiture/successor agency
designation
c. Open the hearing
d. Receive any oral or written protests, objections, or evidence
e. Note all written protests received prior to the hearing
f. Close the hearing
g. Determine the value of written protests filed and not withdrawn

4. PROTEST HEARING #2 Shasta Fire Protection District (FPD) Formation
The Shasta LAFCO Executive Officer will conduct the protest hearings as follows:
a. Describe the proposal and hearing purpose
b. Summarize Shasta LAFCO Resolution approving the formation
c. Open the hearing
d. Receive any oral or written protests, objections, or evidence
e. Note all written protests received prior to the hearing
f. Close the hearing
g. Determine the value of written protests filed and not withdrawn

5. REPORT TO COMMISSION
The Executive Officer will advise the Commission on the protest proceedings at their next
Regular Meeting: Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the City of Anderson
Council Chambers 1887 Howard Street, Anderson, California
